60° ain't cold, but you know that.   Grin
get's down to 40° once in a while, never had a lick of trouble lighten her up.
humidity may give you trouble.

but tell, what did the plug look like?
how does it run when hot?
what does it do?
be descriptive

assuming you have stock jets now, a 150 main would be a good start.
get a set of jets from lancer.

tell us about your bike, years, miles, mods.

Tom P,
I live on the east side of PA and use to ride to work any day the weather was over 40 degress and not raining.

The first 2 or 3 miles were a pain due to stalling at lights.  That's an idle speed thing (solved with small shim made from refirg magnet) .

I did have an issue on the days that semmed colder.  The bike seemed like it was running out of gas. I switch to reserve and that hepled for tiny bit, then had to go to prime.  It only did it a few times.  It didn't do it after doing the petcock manual conversion.

My thought is that the diaphram was getting stiff and the cold made it worse.
