Stimpy,

The 4" longer tubes came on one of my bikes from a previous owner. But I know that you can get reasonably priced extended tubes up to +4" from here: http://www.frankmain.qpg.com/

Frank's has been around for 40-50 years and is known for their quality work. However, he will no longer go more than +2" on most bikes, and will only take the Savage to +4" because the bike is so exceptionally light. Don't even ask them about really long tubes unless you want to hear a whole sermon on how stupid it is to put +12" tubes on a 600 pound bike when you weigh 350 pounds; and just how short your life expectancy will be if you go somewhere else and buy said +12" tubes and put them on at a 45º rake.

Oh yeah, mine are on at the Savage's stock 35º and it handles really good. Even better when I had the tkat brace on that bike. (I really need to buy another one of those!)
