uneven brake pad wear?
04/16/10 at 11:23:49

My pads are about four months old and show considerable leading edge wear (time to replace), while the trailing edges look pretty new?
I appear to be missing an adjustment somewhere...any ideas?
Oh, and the dealer has stock replacements for 28.50...and one kidney.

wouldn't say you're missing an adjustment, but most likely the pad is hanging up near the trailing edge.
if the inside pad vs. outside pad was uneven, then your pins that allow the caliper to float are hanging up... not the case here.
there are a couple of springs to release the pads off of the disk and to center them... check those 1st.

I might pay that for EBC's but stock?  hell no.
get kavlar pads off of fleabay... $14 or so.
