so the fuse blowing issue is solved along with why my signal lights not working for about 6 months. that wire was severed also right next to the motor mount area on the frame with little inspection I also found that my motor mounts where loose, so all in all the fuse blowing was a good thing.

glad you found it!!
fio its dangerious to start putting bigger fuses on any circuit 20amp is all the 12 awg wiring on the ls is rated for...have seen more than one boy racer car on the side of the road burnt to the rims cause they wired/fused their over powered stereo wrong...
