Norm gives the best tutorial on removing broken screws that I've seen.

Its hard to not bust bolts & strip threads when working on things that have bolts, but, theres a lot to be said for developing a feel for when a bolt is not tightening up right & knowing its about to strip out.
Busting one off trying to get it out? Yea, sometimes, but patience can surely save us most often.
