Welcome Josh, hope you have years of safe riding, ( and by the way I just added the lever tassels to my bike this past weekend, I like it..) Cool

Otherwise, welcome to the side dude.  Did your dyno jet kit enable you to eliminate the backfiring since you have a Jardine on there ?

Well kinda...98% of the time there is no backfire/afterfire on shut down, 100% as long as I let it idle a few minutes before shut down. As far as any other time, it is very rare I noticed if I am slowing down in fifth gear without brakes just closing the throttle I get a small pop and on downshifting without giving a little gas sometimes, but definitely a lot less than the stock pipe. Any time I got toward the end of a gear with my stock pipe it would pop until I shifted. And I'm not stupid I've had four wheelers  and stuff growing up and I was not taking the RMP's up to high it would start backfiring between 30-35 in third gear. Anyway probably said too much here but the basic answer is yes it really helped, but did not eliminate it completely.
