Just on an added note. I changed my oil for the first time yesterday and it went great. I've never done anything like that before and if there weren't awesome post on how to do just about everything on the savage I would have been lost.

Next point, I would like to modify my footpegs. I've seen some people even add new brackets to their forward control to make them longer. I was looking on the bike last night (86 savage) and I wouldn't know where to start.

Are there any post out there (with pics) that show how to change the pegs? Just wondering. Thanks
