Back in those days you could buy these lowering blocks at most bike shops. I don't know if you can find them now or if they would fit a savage? Bigzuk

bill67 Serious Thumper Offline old tired Posts: 8517 genoa city wisconsin Gender:	Re: how about just lower it? lol Reply #9 - 04/01/10 at 15:23:15 Its hard without a shock compress but can be done,You need a needle nose vise grip to hold the shaft and the theres a nut you take off.Hold the vise grip at the top so you don't wreak part of the shaft that will be going into the shock or it will wreck the seals.I have done it so it can be done.
