I have been told mixed things about putting a washer back in the carb to replace the spacer?
I have a stock header into a sportster muffler cone air filter straight off the carb and an iridium plug. any ideas?
If i do end up putting washers back in where is the best place to get them and what size do i need?

didn't he include some washers or did you get an early kit like me?

the white spacer is smaller than a #4 washer but I think that what's been used.  #3 might be a better fit though.

Mmmmmm, that suggests that the stock spacer (.100) was ok ?

Most of us used about .050 to .060 spacer.

stock is .110" or 2.8mm to be exact.

maybe if you warm it up a bit  

I've only checked one, but I remember others saying .110"

but think about it... .1" = 2.54mm

BTW, my caliper is calibrated to national standards

in that case,... maybe the Ace #4 spacer measures .077"?.... ...

... or so?... ...
