thats not all the brace does. I use braces for a totally different reason.
Try this little test. Stand in front of the bike looking at it. Hold the front wheel with your legs. Now try to turn the handle bars.
The SHOULDNT turn, but guess what, they do.
This is just normal flex in the forks. Braces eliminate most of that.
The same thing is basically happening when you ride down the road. The wheel being a gyroscope it doesn't want to turn. Fork braces help turn in and front end feel. But most savages are not ridden hard enough for that to matter.
