First take off your tank. take off your carb... then take off the battery and the batt box. then you can take the air box out... with one or two mutherfu#%$ in the middle. lol its out... this SOB better scream when its runnin again...

I ended up using a Dremel and cutting out the top and front of the MFer. There is a "mystery screw" somewhere on the bottom. I am not sure if anyone has ever found it. It worked out OK though cause I was able to put the side panels back on. I want to move my battery back so I have more room for the K&N etc. but I havn't got that all figured out yet.

I used a pair of tin snips, a chisel and a hammer. I wish I had thought of the dremel.
The mystery screw is located towards the bottom behind the muffler.

The Dremel worked OK but I knicked a wire in the process. I think I saw the screw once but I was using a mirror and had no idea where it really was.
