valve adjust
03/23/10 at 13:04:22

The link to the valve adjustment in the Tech section appears to be broken. I had my valves adjusted today and now the bike seems to be running rich. I think that it makes sense that the carb would need adjusting after valve adjust, but I can't locate a reference to it on this site or in my Clymers. Help, Please.  Undecided

Thanks for the link. I tried the one in the tech section, but it didn't go to your write up.  Smiley

Doesn't sound right to me.....unless maybe the carb had been adjusted with the valves grossly out of spec.

I just went thru Verslagen1's valve adj. thread. Very well explained!!!

The pics really made the diference. I'm no mechanic, but this thread would get me thru it.
