sorry mick, we are past the snow, we are on a turkey... any kind of turkey.  Its Thanksgiving, so here's mine!

1.  It is "a pic of your bike with a turkey, any kind of turkey" and thus you win and get to set the next task.

2.  It is interteresting that you have a bottle of Wild Turkey available.

I could have had just a picture of myself --  I am a Turkey, not an Eagle.  "Eagles may soar, but turkeys don’t get sucked into jet engines."

I expected a Butterball before the Wild Turkey!  Hubby went to the liquor store for some Jack Daniels, but they had Wild Turkey on sale with two glasses in the cutest little wooden display case with glass door.  I hadn't had any in ages, so I told him to get it, knowing in the back of my mind, I could use it here.  But it is mighty tasty too!  And I forgot how strong that 101 can be... heehee

Ok... NEXT CHALLENGE:

Since Thanksgiving is officially over, people are starting to put out the Christmas decorations.  I want 3 different members to post pictures of Christmas displays, bike included of course.  After the third one posts, I will pick the a winner.  My idea is the more lights, the bigger display, the better.  Preferably at a residence, but if you have a pretty local display, it will be considered too.  Go find the Griswalds.....

Thought about rolling out the bike for this one, but 3 major issues in my situation:
1. Have to ride it through 6" of snow to the neighbor's house to get it in front of the lights.
2. Have to be able to get a decent enough night-time picture to make it worth submitting.
3 (As Always) Never seem to have enough time  Sad

I am little behind.  Last Christmas lights:

When the trees grew up big I got rid of my pushup antenna, I don't why.  So I just used pieces of EMT, 10' by 1.5", 1.25", and 1".  Nested together, about 11 feet long.  Stretched out including the Star, about 30 feet.

THEN I had to find my hole.  I couldn't find it.  I ended up using a steak knife stabbing the lawn inch by inch.  Found the cap, over a inch below the dirt.  This is a 5 foot piece of 2" EMT.  I now have the pole planted, the Star sitting at seven feet off the ground.  When I am done, the star will be 24-25 feet high.

Yeah!!  We haven't put up lights in a couple years.  I've been bah-humbug lately!  lol  But these kinda put me in the mood.

Ok Midnight, you're up!  (oh, I love the house too!)

Its cold and a lot of wuss's, er ah I mean riders like me cant get out. There is talk on the forum of a few brave souls going on toy runs so to make this as easy as I can and keeping it in the holiday spirit I wanna picture of you and your bike with a live human Santa Clause. Hopefully that shouldnt be too hard, Go for it!
