As the only entry in 5 days I'm calling it a winner.  You're up Paladin.

Thinking about my old home town, Detroit.  I need the word "Detroit" on write -- a street sign, a shop sign, anything.

Listen, where did you get that bullet light?

Ebay.  They guy called it as a headlight  for a hotrod, I got it for $10.
 It looks like this:

Cool, I like it, I have to check ebay, needless to say not paying $200. Does it fit right in?

Fits like a square peg in three round holes.  Made a adapter made from aluminum angle to make box, the two stock bolts down and a bolt up into the headlight:

(the wires just taped behind instead of inside.)

Looks like I am grounded for the winter anyway Sad Sounds like an easy project until spring.

Here's my bike since the last changes btw:

Sorry, I meant the weather in NY has halted me, I'll have to ride around the neighborhood on weekends now to get the oil moving until it get's above 40f in morning.

Ahhh, well I thank you then Smiley

Now I need that headlight, and whitewalls tires. Maybe powder coat the wheels while I'm at it.

Well I will leave that decision up to you.
The headlight that you have on the bike at the present looks nice.
Yet if you decide to go with a different one, I don't see where it
would do anything but enhance what to me is a nice bike.
Enjoy riding as long as the weather permits.. Smiley kim

I found a few on eBay for cheap but it's gonna take some fiddling around to make any of them fit. Worth a try though, they're cheap enough...Just when you think you're done tinkering there's always some idea popping up, mostly thanks to you guys Smiley

Yeah, like anyone is going to be able to find "Detroit" on a sign.
