I learned my lesson using phillips head screwdrivers on the Savage JIS screws, and don't want to repeat while changing my brake light switch (activated by front brake lever). I looked at the screws over the weekend, and they're small and seem as soft as carb screws, ie; easy to strip with the wrong drivers.
The JIS screwdrivers are not easy to come by, and after an hour of research, there seems to be two options; the Moody set, or the Hozan set. Moody doesn't get good reviews, but the Hozan set does. I was about to place an order for a set on the Ikas webshop site here:
http://www.ikaswebshop.com/jisphilips.html but stopped in the middle of actually placing the order when I was unable to remove some items from the cart. The website just felt cheesy to me. Anyone ever use this company? Good or bad reviews?
It looks like neither Sears, JC Whitney or Harbor Freight sells JIS screwdrivers.
