Yes, mountain dew is a killer.  by the way, i know you are young but a co-worker of mine is in the hospital and has been off work for 3 weeks with kidney stones that the docs are blaming on his mountain dew drinking.  he's only in his mid-40's.  so as a mom, i'll tell you to be careful how much of that stuff you consume.  (keep in mind this is also coming from someone who drinks diet coke like they're gonna quit making it tomorrow....)

Speaking of your chrome head covers, my favorites are on Supernes550's bike...  see page 66 of the "introduce yourself" thread, if this doesn't go to that page...  http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1187133710/975
I think it would be an awesome look for your bike!!

Very good!  With the huge amount of negative influences out there today, our youngsters need all the positive examples we can give them!  (May sound silly, but you give me a proud feeling.... )

aww thank u!! that's not silly! i seriously try my best and help out as many kids as i can! i literally tell people i fight negativity!

all my little kids love my bike, and now that there's a ninja turtle on it they go even nuttier!!

one little guy, funny little kid, asked if i would put a skull and crossbones on it, i just may follow his suggestion!!

Rocco: did you just use grill paint to black the bike out?  Did you heavily sand anything?  Does the paint chip easy?

sorry for all the questions i've just been thinking about doing this.

i did use grill paint, it didn't require anything more then some light steel wool and a little cleaning. it's on there, but if i scrub hard enough it'll come off. it's been good for around a month, maybe 2. i like the ratty look so i don't care if it chips.

i'm sure there's one that works better though lol
