just a note...it is possible to make 60 mph just after hitting 2nd gear   Smiley  
well, let me qualify that a little; after a few tweaks and mod's it will do that   Cool

I've hit 60 in 3rd on my almost stock ride, when merging with fast traffic, and she's starting to scream pretty good with that more open exhaust. Cheesy

The bike has a constant mesh tranny so as long as you left off the gas a bit you didn't do much if any damamge.   Matter of fact, it's a good skill to learn.  

If you haven't already, take the safety course!!!!!

Oh yea... purdy bike....
