This link has a little video explaining the different types of locks.  $28.99.

Got the highway bars!  I am ready for those long rides - the other thing I was looking at is the Gel Seat for the S40 - does anyone have one of those, about $214-244, need to know if it's worth it too. http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/detail.cfm?Category_ID=30&manufacturer_ID=1...

I have the suzuki gel pillow seat,It take the bumps better,A little narrow than stock seat.It pushes you forward about 3 inches so if your tall It wouldn't be to good,I'm 5 6 so its not to bad for me.The other gel seat looks like it wouldn't push you forward.

I've heard(never actually sat on one)that the gel seats aren't much of a difference for the cost. But if you are still thinking about it, check here, prices look better

Not bad for $179.99 for the pillow.  Right now I have a large "bicycle" get seat I picked up from REI, I used it last riding season, but I am still leaning towards the pillow seat.

See: http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1265473934/0#0

In the past week I've seen them on e-bay for as low as $49.95 with the flaw.

+1 on the DJ seat mod. I've put about 5,000 much more comfortable miles in since then. I've gone as long as 7 hours, stopping only for gas and a bite to eat; never because my bum was hurting.

I've searched for this about 4 times, and have not managed to find it yet.

Could someone with better Forum skills than mine post a link?

Thanks

Try this link:
http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1233000795

It shows many of his mods and talks about the seat quite a bit.
