I agree, but wish they would have mounted the speedometer on the bars. Not only would it be more visible while riding if mounted on the bars, but it would provide that much more room for fuel (a much needed commodity with the size of these tanks).

The sportster tank has a very narrow tunnel. Unless you want the tank to sit on top the frame a new tunnel has to be made for it to fit, along with mounts.

I have a vn 750 tank all painted and waiting. I just need a break from classes long enough to fabricate a bracket to mount it. If you do the sporty tank I would love to see picks of how you do the mount.

Think about that.... at 50 mpg of the LS650, that's 3 or 4 hours of riding..... talk about terminal monkey butt..... Google Porkster.
