Decided to relocate my speedo again and get rid of the coffee can housing I had been using.

I had some sheet metal left over from my wind generator project (which is on hold at the moment) and used it to wrap around my speedometer. I used sheet metal screws to secure it and found a couple of handle bar clamps which I used to secure it to the handle bars. I must say it looks much better than what I did have.

I think the speedo should always be mounted on the handlebar just for better site. Looks good and different. How much longer speedometer cable did it take?

The tach cable from a mid eighties Suzuki GT750 is a direct swap but just an inch or two longer. That's what I used.
