take a couple of these:

use a sawsall or something and a couple of hammers, strong pliers, hammer, saw and bend and you get

and repeat for other side to hold your saddlebags like so:

I need to fix the pvc pipe rig for my turn signals but, they are on there now, going to test our the bags this weekend, then probably take everything apart and remount the turn signals and paint the bag brackets

so it's still a work in progress, any suggestions would be much appreciated

gave it a test ride tonight, the exhaust side saddlebag does get a little warm, going to see if I can't raise it up some more, it doesn't really get hot hot, and it is leather so as long as I don't keep anything flammable in it everything should be fine

also tested out my "cold weather gear" that being an extra pair of $10 Starter brand running pants that are big enough to go over my jeans, they work alright, but I also wear a pair of long johns under my jeans so everything combined works well

I like riding a lot more without a backpack!!!! Cheesy

I've been thinkin' of ideas for a sissy bar for my KLR650. That hardware hangar you linked to may be just the ticket. I could probably find a nice selection of them at Home Depot. gee JOG, don't you know to take every purchase out to the bike and hold it up while you turn and visualize where it "wants to be". get your priorities straight.

The bags look a little big to me but then again they hold more than mine do. I used M50 brackets that I had laying around the garage and a few parts from Lowes.
