Has anyone ever done a dual-headlight mod similar to what a Triumph Street Triple has?

If you do it,.. let's see pics...

I saw this kit on ebay and thought that it would be awesome.
Doesn't come with the lights or hardware, just a metal mounting plate for almost $70 after shipping (seems really high).

If you want to pay $70 for a polished plate... you bought the wrong bike.
Somewhere, there's a dual light kit like the one shown for between $80 and $120.
Make your own plate.

I totally agree, I would never pay $70 for just that hardware. Now the whole kit with lights for $80-$120 sounds more feesible.
My concern would the be amount of juice needed for those. Seems like it's been mentioned here before that the charging system on these bikes don't put out a whole heck of alot, and they even have trouble just keeping up with some added driving lights. So what would be the best way to go about wiring up a pair of lights so that you don't overload the electrical system?

$250.00!....
I was thinking more like $25.00... just find somebody that upgraded their stock headlight, and rig a bracket to mount two...
Hunt down a muffler shop with slow business, and get him to fix you up a bracket, then paint it black and bolt her up...

I have been thinking about doing his mod too.
The mounting plate should be easy to fabricate. Cut some plate aluminum with a jig saw and drill out the holes. Making a new pigtail for the wiring should be simple enough. My only issue is power. I don't think I would do it until I converted the tail light and turn singles to LEDs.
I'd love to see what you come up with.

Are there common LED kits that people here recommend?

If you like the stock signals,... you can just buy bulbs...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2x-25-White-LED-1157-TAIL-STOP-BRAKE-TURN-SIGN...
or there's lots of aftermaket signals...

Would those work for the stop indicator as well?
My turn signals are broken in that without the black electrical tape they would just hang by their wires, but the lights themselves work. I'd like to replace them, but it appears to be annoyingly difficult on the savage.
