I set my idle between 1200 and 1300, I checked the betcock this morning no notciable difference, Im goin to switch out my main jet to a 152.5 this afternoon and see how it does and reset the air/fuel screw and ajust from there.

I installed a 155 and installed my stock air filter back on and the air/fuel screw all the way open, still backfiring, as soon as I move the air/fuel screw to close pos. I can't even rev it a little and it backfires. I gona drain the gas and air out the tank and new gas and run some seafoam through it as well as cleanign the carb with some carb cleaner.

Turning it clockwise closes it .Open it 2 turns and go from there. More open makes it richer.

So, you're close.  Sounds like a fuel delivery problem.

Check your float level.  Got a drain teet on the bottom of the carb?  Connect a clear hose and run it up along side the carb.  open the drain valve.  the fuel should come up to the gasket on the bowl, thereabouts.

Second place a clog can occur is the screen above the float valve.  Found a hair ball there once.

I ran seafoam therw the tank until it about dies i killed it before it shut off so i wouldnt make anything become stuck, and ran some carb cleaner therw the untake as it was running, no difference and the screw is 2 out least I'm pretty sure.
