Actually I went with what verslagen1 said.  When I got to the bike shop my exact words were "It needs a carburettor clean up.  Can you please take it out, put it apart, clean it, and put it back together?"  So that's what they did.

The guy was really cool and seemed very professional.  Was ready right on time and I had not problems whatsoever.
