Gas Gauge - Would this work?

Has anyone tried using one of these gauges? He has a ton of sizes available and can custom make sizes. Anyone see a flaw before I dig in more?

Don't expect to read it in a turn. But if you can get one to fit the cap, for that amount I'd get one.

i doubt it could work without a
lot
of modification - that cap is for a tank with a threaded filler tube "sticking up", threaded on the outside- like a dynamark lawn tractor. nothing like ours. i'm thinking at very best you'd get a leaky cap with a gauge that works poorly and that float thing will drip all over your tank when you fill up.
just my opinion

They have lots more than the lawn mower kind.
Worth a try.

It may read a little off due to different gas tank depth. But it will always be off the same amount so it should be easy to gauge what's left in the tank. Keep posting on this please!

Just get a couple of brass elbows and some clear fuel line and make an old skool sight tube. That's what I'd do if I ever rode more than 5 miles from a gas station..

I kinda wish I had a gas gauge, & a tach & a speedo that sat where I can see it w/o looking at my zipper. Ive somehow learned to work around everything this bike isnt & I still get a giggle out of what it is..
