You got it right...I have the potential to loose 50lbs. From a gross weight standpoint, considering REX is about 290 and I am 210 right now, that makes a total of 500 lbs. A 50 lb weight loss would be a 10% reduction of gross weight and that would make a significant performance improvement.
Loose fat for better milage and performance...and live to ride longer.

The Savage is quicker on take off up to about 40mph and after that the Ninja will walk off and leave the Savage. The Ninja weighs 335lbs.

Your acceleration result surprises me.
What about on the upper end ? I'm not much on bikes, but in automotive/RVs, cubic inches always shine on the grades and top end.

And to be fair, both should be chain, or belt.

Never had the Savage over 75. Didnt feel stable. Had the Ninja up to 90 and it was still pulling and steady as a rock. The Ninja forums say the top speed on it is 105.

Hahahah. And you just know a bunch of jerks are going to look at us with our mid-age beerguts, lopping parts off our bikes and think "Oh he's compensating.. Small battery, you know what that means.."

If your signature is still correct, install that Dyna muffler. There's several pounds off right there, and when you hear it you won't believe how long you put up with the stock hunk o' junk.
