No, one is removed to prevent confusion. I do have one that goes dim sometimes though.

Are those stiff enough to keep them from pushing into the brake handle (and turning on your brake light)?

The mitts I got for mine have that problem.  I need to make a bracket that hooks to the mirror stem and goes all the way out to the end of the handle bar..  someday.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

I bought these for $18 last year: http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/4/22/263/4851/ITEM/Quadboss-Hand-Mitts.aspx and they got me through the winter even riding at 20F. Those and gauntlet gloves kept my fingers toasty.

Why spend the money when you're sitting on a big heater?

I just reach down every few minutes and grip the engine for a few seconds. Provided your gloves are the right material and don't burst into flames (or singe, melt, or otherwise irreversibly change for the worse), you get a nice burst of heat.

... Course this works best on short trips through the city, and is mildly dangerous on a highway for long distances...

So you're an MA, with a dim bulb and Moose's on your grips.  Humm, no wonder why I like you.   Grin

Thanks for thinking of me though, I appreciate the info.  Now all I need is the gauntlet gloves, the wrap to go under my helmet, some chaps and heavier jacket.  Oh, and a new seat.  Hope Santa is good to me this year.  Wink
