Theres probably not and 1/8 inch difference between hot or cold.

& IF there is ( & I agree w/ Bill, I dont think theres enough of a difference to matter), I dont see 3 minutes of running as enough to get whatever thermal expansion it could make to show up. IDK Why they say run it, but I quit worrying about that a long time ago.

I just check it cold & hit the door. Tho, its not uncommon for me to look at it when I get home & its all warmed up

Why? I have a piece of wood, about 3/4 wide & 1/2 thick with a groove that catches the top of the filler plug. No pliers needed, no gloves, easy mang,, easy

Why you tak'in the fill plug loose to check the oil ? You have a custom made dip stick too ? You guys said I had to use the site glass. I believed it !
Reminds me the first time I took the filler plug loose, I thought the dipstick had broke off Shocked

I have the butler hold the bike upright, while the upstairs maid checks the site glass. That way I get an accurate reading before the ride and a nice view of her arse in the process. And, I have yet to get a burn or an oil stain.

So, when you're lookin at the maid's arse, that's not an oil stain on your pants, huh? Wink
