And ive had a change of plan opted for the standard front guard and a diff brake/numberplate light arrangement well when i can sort a bracket out for it that is.

I had a bad feeling about the side mounted plate etc knowing me id loose that if i got a bit naughty on corners

I really don't like the plates we have to use in the UK. They are HUGE. I am seeing more and more bikes here with illegal plates on, some about 1/2 size. I'm thinking of maybe doing one, I mean how often do the cops approach from behind unless they are speeding past to get somewhere else?  I think I'll check what the penalties are, I suspect I would just get a verbal warning for a first offence, and an order to put the right plate back on.

I reckon I'd gain 10 mph just from the decreased air resistance  

Thankfully we don't need a front plate any more...

There are quite a few UK members on here I think. Would be great to meet up when the weather gets a bit warmer. I've always thought a London to Brighton Savage run would be a good day out!
