The bike did surprisingly well, but was really just a little overloaded and tight.  So we just loafed on through.  Not too many people out, but more than I anticipated.  Kept going up and over Cherohala, too!

I spent about 20 minutes rockin thru those pics. I was amazed! I figured on seeing a load of squids. Only saw one, doing a stoppie, pic# 1216. Saw one other sports bike, the rest were V-twins or Gold Wings. Or a Big V #1695.
I think the bike I would want to ride the least of all I saw was a custom job, #1542. Looks nice, but the ergo setup looks bad to me..

I like the shield & bags, looks like a nice setup.
Sure looks like a fun ride.

Next time will either be solo or on a longer bike!  I have a longer bike now, picked up a Volusia.  Rides nicely.  Suzuki seems to hit a sweet spot with the models I've tried.  Could have a smoother shifting trans etc.  But really, they're so inexpensive and work so well.

I've arrange a garage for the winter, so I can tear down the 650.  Get lots of black powder coating done, turn it into a dark wonder.  So I'm glad to have a second bike to ride!

But I might solo the Dragon shortly, go over for a bicycle ride w/George or something.
