I used Rancho shock boots from O'Reilly. $5.00 each & they come in different colors.

You guys got some sweeeet rides!!!  Suzuki S/VS motorcycles are exactly what I like in a bike.  It's the way bikes should be.  My VS1400 is slim, tall jugs,, no bones.  The guy behind Exile motorcycles, a brit, said American motorcycles look like Easter eggs on wheels.  Not these bikes.  Wink

i pulled up next to a harley guy last night, gave him a nod and he looked apalled that i had bugged him while we were sitting @ the traffic light for the minute and half that feels like eternity.

funny thing was, mine was louder! and he was in the left turn lane and i was going straight. somehow i got to go first so i showed him how the suzi 650 is way louder then his harley, and i paid 23,000 less  Grin

it's true isn't it? you look at these bikes and think "that's what a motorcycle is supposed to look like !"

I've owned a lot of bikes since I started riding in 1970, but I've never had one that gets more compliments than does my Savage.

Funny!

i like being in a parking lot full of bikes, and being the oddball. not just because i have no paint on my tank lol but the older guys have tons of "how sweet a single is," and my favorite "a 650 single?!?!?!"

the sport bike guys just shine and put on a slip on exhaust, the average sport bike rider still has the warning stickers on his tank lol
