i am thinking of buying 2008 savage and just checked it, headlight does not have on off switch?? also when i reduce accelerator i hear some noise as if it is breaking. is this something normal in savage? what else one should look for while buying savage?

your help will be highly appreciated

I don't think any Savages or S40s have a headlight on/off switch, just a high beam/low beam switch.  Could you be more specific about what the "breaking" noise sounds like, where it's coming from, is it a rattle or a bang or something else?  Also, how many miles on the bike?
