Very nice! Just what I was thinking of ...only red.
Did you paint it?
What brand of paint?
how durable is it...any soft spots or problems?

Thank you for sharing

I have been thinking of doing it as well; the Dupli-color version.  I got a bunch of it for the truck bed and after a little of test spraying decided that I areally like it.   It sure beats regular paint for durability.

JohnBoy clueless painted it back when it was his bike he said what he used bake on the first page. There are no soft spots or scratches, but I have scratched my helmet on it when I hung it from my handle bar. This stuff is great I just throw my keys on the tank they stay, no paint to scratch and gasoline doesn't phase it either.  Smiley

Whoa!  Biddie's paint job does look good!  I like it.. crinkle paint plus super durability in a can.  That paint job blows my skid plate idea out of the water (I decided not to make a skid plate into a grip-plate after all).   Good job, clueless-FSO  Cool

According to the Duplicolor website, they think like Henry Ford did ... you can get it in any color you want as long as it is black.

Can't remember the brand name I used. It also came in red and white. I did  prep everything pretty well before I sprayed 'em. I don't have a garage and did it outside. Like I said before, everyone just has to touch it Grin
I sure do miss the ease of maintenance and repair on the Savage. But I sure am enjoying the Silverado ride!

Yeah but you could emboss lettering or your own graphic design in the liner.  I have no idea how to do it, but it would be awesome.  Maybe put on a good thick coat, wait till half-dry, and stamp it with a design you've carved into a potato?  Cheesy  Just thinking out loud.
