Not with my new seat... But, a decent shot of the plate:

Picked off of EBay for $35 and shipping. The guy custom made it 2" longer from his normal units so that it would clear the belt guard.

Check your state laws, and any state you might ride into.  Many states require the plate be horizontal and facing straight back.

Was given a powdercoated side plate bracket off of flea-bay as a gift, couple years ago ... only to discover that Canadian plates (Nfld. & Manitoba I know for sure) are bigger than standard issue U.S. m/c lic. plates!! May mod it next year so my plate will fit, but for now it's mounted on the left lower shock bolt and has a "No Rules Riders" decal and a "#13" decal on it ...

heres the best pic i have but it is a easy mod. just need to make the brake light wiring longer and zip tie it to the inside of the rear arm. bolts right up to the axle bolt...
oh yeah, Illinois law says no vertical plate....i say too bad!

i've been wanting to move my plate, but i have no idea what to do with all the wiring to the light AND florida says no vertical plates either....so i might as well just leave it lol

(advertisement from the PO  Grin )

My neighbor cop says that we can have side plates in here (not sure if we ment the county or state). However, if i was you, i would trust my own research more then a strangers word of mouth.  Wink

For the wireing, it thought i felt a hole in the swing arm for some wires, i couldnt find it though. Some black wire and black zipties to match my black paint, run the wire up behind the frame or whatever seems suitable, i popped it up under the sear where i could pull it back and connect the wires.  (PO wasnt a night rider so never botherd with lights, being young a cop-attracter in W.S. i made sure those lights worked)
