I have a Suzuki Burgman 650 along with my S40. I ride the Burg on long trips and also around town on days I can't swing my leg over the S40. I'm going to stay on two wheels as long as I can. One definitely has to ask what they want in a second bike before buying. I bought the Burgman for touring and also because I know that my disabilities keep me from getting on the S40 at times. Plus the darn scooter is a lot faster than the S40.

Hahaha that's hilarious!!  And (don't despair) one of those Can-Am things will be a lot faster than the scooter, should you have to go to three wheels.

Voldigicam will understand this;  Giant TCR Comp with Alpha Q Sub3 fork (for shake free descents of Mount Lemmon) Campy Chorus groupo,  Mavic brakes, Proton wheels and  FSA compact cranks (I‘m getting sort of old).

Modern Raleighs are made in asia somewhere, could well be by Giant who makes frames for a lot of people.  Giant makes super light really nice riding frames at the top of their line.  Their carbon fiber work is very good, long developed by providing frames for Once and T- Mobile.  Really good bang for the buck.

I just this year bought a honda vtx 1300. That dang bike fits me perfect, and I like the extra weight, don't hear that too often but I really do like the size. Still have the thumper.

My "other" bike is a 2007 Yamaha Majesty.  It is a 400cc thumper that outruns the Savage any day, but is not quite as much fun to ride as the Suzuki.

I have my eye on a 2010 Triumph Thunderbird - I might pick one up after the holidays if Santa leaves a little lettuce in my sock.   Roll Eyes

Only 1 bike,.....I like my Bullie 40 for the most part, but I'm not real comfortable on it on any ride over 30-40 miles,....maybe because I'm 6'1, ?
If only that seat was 2" farther back !

It wouldn't be hard for me to trade for a more comfortable,....even smaller bike.

I do like bonnies, but Im hooked on the simplicity of thumpers. Maybe one day I'll get an sr500 to mess around with. For now I've got plans for my savage that i cant afford really, plus the sr's arent very plentiful in these parts. I'd even get a Harley 350 sprint (They did do the 350 sprint right? Or did they change the name for the 350?) if the right deal came buy.

The Harley 350 Sprint was an Italian Aermacchi. Aermacchi's motorcycle division was owned by Harley, when Harley was owned by AMF. By now those are about thirty years old, and I would bet parts would be hard to come by. Also, they had left-foot rear brakes and right-foot shifters.

I'm not much for add ons, but I had given that some thought.
