Sportster Seat Conversion ?
08/28/09 at 20:31:44

Did a 1800 mile trip earlier this year and 500+ miles last weekend. I purchased a Suzuki gel seat for the rides. Unfortunately the gel seat was no better than the original, maybe worse as it is slightly narrower.

In looking at the Sportster seat conversion, I could not find details. Will any Sportster seat work or only specific years? Also, will aftermarket seats made for the Sportster work?

I want something more comfortable for me, but also for a passenger on occasional 2-up riding. Any ideas appreciated.

The sportster seat won't be any more comfortable for a passenger.
Just not much back there. Undecided

Can you make an H-D Sportster Sundowner aftermarket seat fit?  14.5" wide for the rider, 12" wide for the passenger.  Expect to pay about $150 on fleaBay.
