Assuming that there are no air leaks in the exhaust (double check it), the Jardine usually would require a #52.5 pilot jet, and occasionally a #55 perhaps.
Never go more than 3 turns out on the adj screw. When you get into the 2.5-3 turn out range, it is a clear indication that you need to go up to the next size jet.
