Has anyone installed a topcase?
If so, any pics?

Mine is an el-cheapo from JCW, mounted on the flimsy Suzuki luggage rack.

Works OK...a wee bit wobbly (due to the POS luggage rack), but I've had it on there for years without a problem.

Over the last 3000 miles, about 57 mpg overall.

When I snapped that pic, I was hauling my ST1100 seat (that I had just sold on eBay) to the post office.

I don't own a cage, if you couldn't already guess that!

Yep.

Too far forward, though, I seem to recall.  Sorta tough on "the boys."

Yea, I knew you did well on MPG, generally, I was laffing at what it must be, shoving all that wide load down the road. I bet a few hundred miles at highway speeds would knock a dent in that average..

You know, a man on a 10 speed has about the same aerodynamics as a pickup, about the same Coefficient of Drag, & I suppose a motorcycle is close, but a little higher. Toss something like that across, tho, & now you are somewhere between a van & a Semi, closer to van, Id guess.

Digger, why mark a seat Fragile.....? Not like it's never been sat on...

But, after that picture, think I'll pass on the top case idea... kinda hard to top that one!

I figured, "Why not?"

That, and I was mailing it to someone who had bid way too much for it.   Smiley
