Cylinder Head Torque Values (Read 41 times)

Posts: 458 Hampstead, Maryland Gender:	Cylinder Head Torque Values 07/18/09 at 10:52:38 Ok I've read my Clymers, and even have a print out of all the torque values for the Savage, but for the life of me I can't find any info for the six cylinder head bolts in any of the tables. The table lists 8 and 9 mm bolts, but the ones I'm dealing with are 12 and 14 mm. Please help me!!!!! Many Thanks, Ray

I was confused by that too but decided to just guess that they meant 9 =14 and 8 = 12. I thought it was just another Clymer's typo until I read a thread similar to this and breathed a sigh of relief that I guessed right on torque even though I got the reason wrong.
