Guess you were wonder'n what the heck am I doing ?

I got a 2nd lower clamp and put the bushing in it and made a new top clamp, that with the way it sits higher and with the lips milled off I can lower the front to my like'n.
Looks better also.

Now you are wondering what am I going to do about handle bars right.
Thats later..

I love the color of your new front end, I'd like to do something like that with mine after I pay it off, but I'd like a more brass/gold look, how did you do that? was it expensive?

I'd rather have one

small ones.

That's just the indoor lighting affecting the photo.

And who the heck has a milling machine in their basement?

I am making a custom raked triple set ... or I am getting a machinist to make em ... and the top triple and bottom triples are different in the construction cos they take different directional loads.
I dunno much more ... but this looks good, hopefully it will be strong enough ... yea I know the front part of the lower triple is 1.5 inch and the back part is solid as opposed to 1 inch all the way across and all hollow ...
BTW you could have just used plain aluminum, 1.25 OD round 1 inch length, drilled 7/8th and used it instead of milling off the top triple. Oh you have to do a small releif for the threads to sit on the under side ... but its efinetly easier than starting off with the top triple.
Looks cool though ...
Put a set of 1/2 inch holes 3.5 inches apart and run harley risers ... I did that on mine.
Cool.
Srinath.

Nope. I'm going to take a solid chunk of 4x3x2 block of alum and drill a 1" hole longways in it, cut it in half and drill/tap 4 holes above and 4 holes below to make a one piece bar clamp... then make a set of Z bars.
