This is an email I sent my friends one perfect day last fall.

Re: Nice Day for a Ride

Just got back from my Sunday motorcycle ride to have lunch in
Hillsborough. Beautiful day for it.

Travel time: 3.5 hrs
Distance covered: 1 mile
Portion walked: 0.5 miles
Trips for parts (in my truck): 2
Trips home for tools: 3
Cost: $100
Food eaten: 0
Bums paid for assistance: 1
Life lesson: Dying batteries always have enough juice to leave home.
