Greetings - got my Savage companion CD yesterday, and I just wanna give major kudos to Greg DuBois, and any and everyone else involved in putting it together. The pictures and info are spectacular. I haven't started wrenching, yet, but it's high on my list of ambitions. I have the service manual, and having this CD now makes everything seem way more do-able. Thanks!

There is indeed a lot of great stuff in it; stuff you will not find anywhere else on the planet. You want detail ? ? This has detail.

I have always thought the pics in the Clymer's Manual were too dark! Especially for someone new to wrenching. And I've been interested in Greg's CD for awhile now. I am convinced,now, to get one!

It will give you great pictures of all the parts on the the bike, a great heads up on how it all goes together. This is invaluable when you are doing a 1st attempt at some repair of maintenance. It's $25 very well spent!!!

Every time I refer to it, it answers the question I had. It costs less than 20 minutes of dealer labor costs. I love it!
