Hello, I am the proud owner of an '87 Savage, I love the bike but it seems to have the notorious plug cap leak. I do not have the time to work on it myself or the funds to find a reliable mechanic. I know that simple solutions "for lazy people" are often frowned upon. and their effectiveness is debatable, but I am wondering if any of the "Stop Leak" liquids that you see in auto stores might be worth a try. When I asked about Seafoam for my other bike, I got a bunch of negative replies, but I tried it and it actually worked. Thank you all for your input.

VC, Your bike's clutch is bathed in the engine's crankcase oil. I would not add anything to the oil, as it may play hell on the clutch. IHTH!
