Needle clip lost. (Read 91 times)

odvelasc Ex Member	Needle clip lost. 06/24/09 at 18:49:47 Anyone know where I can order a new needle clip for a vm carb? I lost mine when it hit the ground while adjusting my needle. I McGyver'd a staple around the needle and its holding up pretty good so far after 3 days of riding lol

The E-style clips are available in really small sizes, like less than 3mm. Of course you'll have to buy 100 of them.. for a whopping $3.50

Home Depot aint got sheeit for metric hardware, or parts that small.

I'd order the circlips and several other bolts that commonly fail (valve hatch bolts, anyone?) and that will justify the shipping. Start a thread asking everyone what fasteners most commonly break, that they'd like to have in stainless steel. Then place a large order with mcmaster-carr and assemble kits.. I'll buy one Wink
