Well, a little while back, I put in an order for a set of home fabricated S40 saddlebag brackets with Forum Member, SevierSavage ... since the mounting points for the S40 brackets and the shape of the brackets themselves differ from those for the pre-S40 Savage, I provided Sevier with some measurements I took from my '05 ... well brackets arrived this evenig and I installed in in about an hour ... they fit perfectly and look great!
