I would like a step by step on this as well. I know some of the guys do it themselves and others will not. I had a friend who changed his tires on a honda and said you needed to be a cross between a spider and an octopus to hold, reach, push, pull, etc everything.
I ordered a tire that should be here today and am having it put on for $50. I am planning on him doing the whole thing, but I plan on watching very closely.
On that thought, I happened upon this shop, Legacy Cycles about 15 miles from where I live. The guy is Harley through and through, he has Harley tattooed on one forearm and Davidson tattooed on the other. I will ask him if he works on other kinds, about parts, etc when I go back. Some close by that I could ask a question or two of would be pretty cool.
