I use Fuelly as well, silly name IMHO but it provides a lot of information and analysis if you're curious. -Pabst

WA Gender:	Re: TELL ME YOUR MPG Reply #16 - 06/22/09 at 15:41:44 AS high as 65 on the relatively flat 35, 40, 45 50 MPH road near Queen creek AZ where we spent some time last spring with the bagger. 40 -45 with the side car rig unless I try the freeway (60MPH) and then it drops under 40 with a passenger in the car. I ride almost 100 miles round trip to work, rural roads with some stop lights here n there. Alot of wide open throttle, with speeds around 60-70. Last time I rode her to work I was simply testing it out (new bike, its my girlfriends) to see what it would do.... so basically I rode it like I stole it. Actually did try to knee drag it chasing down a squid on a Gixxer Tongue

I went and filled her up @ 105 miles - 1.8 gallons - 58MPG.
When my GF rides it, it gets 65-75MPG because she doesn't ride like I do. Shes a beginner and all the backfires scare her

I have a pretty free flowing harley exhaust, 150 main jet and tuned carb. on a recent 500 mile trip i got anywhere from 54-69 mpg depending on speeds, style, and gas type. try to get gas without ethanol, you'll do better

My Savage riding is strictly local with occasional spurts to about 55-60 mph indicated.
