Hi ya Folks, just thought I'd pop by and say hi from Limey land..

Picked up my 2002 Single last weekend and rode the 200 odd miles home and had a grin from ear to ear...  At the moment it's pretty standard apart from the Norwegian straight through exhaust, not legal over here and the neighbours are already making those who's gonna be the one brave enough to complain 1st faces... Wink I'll be slowly chopping it over the summer months when I decide what I want to do with it.. till then I'll crack open a beer have a read and make myself at home.. assuming you guys don't mind limeys on your site.. Cool

23.

oopppsss and probaly posted in the wrong section.. feel free to move... sorry that's not a good start..

Not at all, you're hardly the first.  Welcome!  I've got a fairly loud exhaust too, but my neighbors are fairly tolerant, and I make a point of going easy on the throttle until I'm down the road a bit. Grin

Welcome aboard. That ear to ear grin is kind of a staple around here. Congrats on the choice of bikes!

Hi! I live about 30 miles west of London, near Reading.

Where are you in the UK?

Give me a pm if you are ever looking for any spares, I've found a few good suppliers here, and I've got a 2nd savage for parts that I'm slowly breaking down.

I think there might be a few of us Brits on here. If we can find a few we could maybe do a trip from the Ace Cafe in north London down to Brighton sometime Smiley

Welcome aboard!

Now do you still drink your beer warm, or has Lucas finally gotten out of the refrigerator business?

Thankyou for the warm welcome guys.. I hope the Great British Summer will be as sunny and friendly so I get to enjoy my new bike.

I'm in Tunbridge Wells Phil.. The Ace is less than an hour away from me, a savage sunday and scoot to brighton sounds like a good plan.. might be fun if we can get a few numbers up.. Cool Looking for loads of bits as well.. was planning to make my bike a little more personal.. Wink

And as for the beers.. Smiley my fridge is open to you all, we serve all kinds, warm or cold dosen't matter.. so long as it's wet and not australian..  Grin

Have fun folks stay safe and thanks again..  Oh BTW My name is AJ..

Hello Mate, I'm British living just outside of Boston, USA. I was born and raised in Southampton. My cousin lives in North Finchley. These Yanks are a bunch of good guys, always ready to help with advice or spare parts. You wouldn't believe how safe the riders are over here. If the traffic is all backed up, they just wait in line with the cars. Not like England where they just blast up between the rows of cars. It's a good thing too, because the car drivers are anything but safe.
