It doesn't take long to kill the battery. I left mine on at work and battery wouldn't start the bike.

You're going to have to charge it. Use your key to remove the battery cover, then the few screws behind that to remove the panel behind. Take off your seat (10mm screws on each side) makes it easier, but disconnect the negative and positive terminals. Slide the battery out, and give it a charge overnight.

Reverse the steps, and she should fire right up.

But even if you can get it going now, the battery is probably crippled long-term. And always remove the key with lights off.

I took the battery out, checked the water and charged it. It has been fine since. Maybe you will get lucky.

Using a turkey baster or booger bulb, add distilled water to between the two blue lines in your battery. Charge at 2 amps overnight, or until fully charged. Pop the battery back in and you should be good. You could have the batter tested at any parts store or moto shop to make sure it can still take a charge. You should be ok. I did killed my battery once because I left on park and removed the key lol

The kit I got came with two ways of hooking up the charger. One is just clamps and the other is rings that you screw under the battery posts. I have it mounted right now just because it is easier and I'm always testing different things on the bike so I like the battery keep charging.

It looks pretty much like this. You can see both the clamps and the rings I was talking about.
