Stainless steel headlight?

Do you like the look of brushed stainless? Well I do.

Bars, risers and headlight removed and "lightly"sanded with 320 then 600 grit wet dry sandpaper.
I will do the top clamp on the tree and the two head covers as well.
It should go real nice with a satin finish bare metal paint.
What do you think?

I really dig it. I was sitting there sanding on my tank yesterday and thinking about doing the exact same thing to my headlight. Good work my friend!

The headlight is plastic, so go light!
I rode it in the noon day sun, which is brutal here in AZ...zero glare!

Hmm...that's not something I'd have ever thought to do.  I like it a lot, but I know I'd screw it up, so I think I'm better off leaving mine alone.

Now do your rear rails to match and tool cover, pipe, head covers, blah blah blah lol. Will be doing a few of those myself.

Yours looks like it turned out better than mine. I get a few pics here later. Seems that the edge of the light just doesn't want to "brush" right. I still like it better than the way it was though. I may even just paint it flat black to match the rest of my stuff.
